Whether you have a few hours to spare or a full day there are lots of things to see, do and enjoy at Chasewater, so why not plan your visit before you arrive.
Chasewater offers a great way to discover the outdoors with adrenaline fueled activities such as wakeboarding, water skiing, power boating and sailing, water zorbing and paddle-boarding.
For those wanting a more leisurely approach, the country park offers inspiring self-guided nature walks, gentle rambles and longer distance trails with opportunities to see the abundant wildlife on the site. In the summer months, visit our sensory garden with its variety of sweet and pungent plants and herbs and give your senses a real treat. The sensory garden is located on the South Shore by the boating pool.
The relatively flat landscape and marked pathways of Chasewater are also ideal for easy family cycling, and weather permitting, other family activities include crazy golf, pedal go-karting and canoeing.
Then take a trip back in history and explore the hidden treasures of Chasewater Railway which dates back to the 1800’s. Chasewater Railway is mainly operated by volunteers so check seasonal opening times before you visit.
And after all that, if you find yourself in need of refreshment why not visit one of the cafes situated within the country park, these eateries offer a selection of hot and cold food and beverages, opening times vary so check with individual venues.
